The SC Business Development Manager will act as a key enabler for realizing sustainable and profitable Repair & Overhaul volume for the assigned workshop in line with the workshop’s competency and strategy. The SC BDM will develop repair solutions that fit the needs of the customers in territory and will strive to build strong relationships with in particular the maintenance staff of these customers.
Active develop and pursue Repair & Overhaul opportunities by visiting customers, assessing their equipment and offer workshop services that add value to our customers. The SC BDM will foster collaboration between the PL’s, the Service Center Staff and the Client Facing Teams in the supporting territory. A supporting territory will in most cases be bigger than the country the Service Center is located in and could include more than one region.
The SC BDM will interface with M&S and Ops staff in Product Lines and Regions as well as with the Technical Support organizations from our Product Lines.
Develop / Update GtM strategy to provide optimum load to the assigned Service Center – Using SCOT understand ideal volume needed to be(come) market competitive. Gain understanding of the competency of the service center and how that can be leveraged to support our customers in territory by the Service Center.
Proactively visit customers in territory to promote Service Center and to generate repair & overhaul opportunities for it. – Through collaboration with client facing teams from the assigned territory, identify growth opportunities and build customer relationships with predominantly their maintenance staff through promotion and demonstration of the Service Center’s technical competence.
Identify global best practices and leveraging those locally around Lean Scoping, Fixed Scope / Fixed Price offers of Repair Solutions.- Through collaboration with the regional and product line M&S organizations as well our Sales Ops organization ensure best practices around configuring, pricing and generating proposals are adopted in the Service Center. Where the service center competency is not adequate to execute all scope, utilize our PCC capability to offer combined strengths to best serve our clients.
Be the technical specialist for products repaired & overhauled in the Service Center – Act as the key interface between the Service Center and the Technical Support organization in the region and supported product lines. Ensure works are executed in line with published standard work instructions and repair standards.
