Job Responsibilities

  • Expertly navigate ambiguity to develop a comprehensive product strategy, product roadmap, functional/non-functional requirements, and go-live plan to deliver on business goals.
  • Oversee product development from start to finish: Ideation, Inception, Error/Risk mitigation, timely delivery, initial release, and feedback gathering for informing future improvement
  • Work with a wide range of external stakeholders to identify needs and expertly distill them into actionable agile goals to build meaningful product.
  • Prepare and review product requirement documents.
  • Refine and maintain product backlog to alignment with product vision.
  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, design, and operations team to build solutions that deliver increasing value to users
  • Lead product initiatives through the entire product lifecycle
  • Organize product releases properly into sprints and ensure compliance with schedule.

Skills & Competencies

  • Significant experience in product lifecycle management and working in agile scrum environment
  • In-depth technical knowledge to understand all product areas, including design and software development principles 
  • Ability to analyze data from a variety of sources to identify key insights, pinpoint optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions
  • Exceptional curiosity, bias for execution, and ability to take a nebulous, vague list of desires & requirements and distill them down into engineering actionable items
  • Strong problem-solving skills with creative approach
  • Strong organizational, leadership and communication skill
  • Good knowledge of product management tool such as Jira
  • Experience with SQL.

Senior Data Engineer

Location: Lagos

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee all data flow including processing (ETL), exploration, modeling and Infrastructure
  • Oversee the design of the architecture of data platforms; develop, customize and manage integration tools, databases, warehouses, and analytical systems.
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from different sources(including databases) and apply algorithms on it to generate useful insights in production
  • Design machine learning models and deploy them in production.
  • Use a systematic approach to plan, create, and maintain data architectures while also keeping it aligned with business requirements
  • Oversee data analytics processes of the organization, create models and identify hidden patterns from stored data.

Key Skills & Competencies Required

  • Strong architecture background with knowledge of the following stacks: Python, C#, GoLang
  • Strong understanding of data science techniques including data modeling, algorithms, and data transformation
  • Hands-on with ETL tools, machine learning frameworks and Libraries
  • Strong knowledge of SQL / NoSQL domain to design and build data storages.
  • Ability to build complex database systems and data warehouse

Senior – Business Development / Software Product Strategy

Job Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility for driving software revenue – both for enterprise software (with electric utilities) and for consumer as well as data monetization related software products.
  • Provide critical input to drive product development based on market needs
  • Identify, develop and close business opportunities within the enterprise and consumer product space.
  • Analyze clients’ behavior through data from targeted interviews and feedback to assist the product development team in setting product priorities and reshape the product growth roadmap.
  • Identify creative strategies to engage customers and be able to align clients ambiguous business challenges with the features of the product
  • Utilize initiative to further develop their knowledge of the product and be comfortable with product demonstration.
  • Understand clients/customer needs and create need for BPS solutions
  • Conduct research to identify markets and customer needs
  • Maintain a solid opportunity pipeline.
