Title: Executive Assistant | Location: Abuja | Edge Recruiter Nigeria

Our client is a fast-growing company with short-stay apartments and cafe outlets.

They currently have an opening for an Executive Assistant in Abuja. An ideal candidate for this role should be well-organized, possessing great planning and time management skills. Ultimately, he/she will contribute to the efficiency of the business by providing personalized and timely support to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients and other external partners
  • Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage CEO’s calendars and set up meetings
  • Format information for internal and external communication – memos, emails, presentations, reports
  • Take minutes during meetings
  • Organize and maintain the office filing system
  • Answering phones and routing calls to the correct person or taking messages
  • Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports
  • Helping prepare for meetings
  • Greeting visitors and deciding if they should be able to meet with executives
  • Using various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
  • Reading and analyzing incoming memos, submissions, and distributing them as needed
  • Experience as a virtual assistant
  • Opening, sorting and distributing incoming faxes, emails, and other correspondence
  • Provide general administrative support

Requirements

  • BSc/HND in any of the Social Sciences discipline or relevant field
  • At least 2 -3 years experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or similar role
  • Experienced Administrator/Manager.
  • Working unsupervised and self-motivated
  • Must be teachable and willing to learn new skills
  • Patience and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Thorough and pays attention to details
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent IT Skills with excellent MS Office proficiency
  • Familiarity with collaborative tools such as Slack, Google Docs, etc
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Great ability for Discretion and confidentiality
  • Be a good communicator with a clear understanding of the role and the responsibilities of the position
