Job Title: Electrical Officer
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical, electronic and control systems equipment.
- Maintenance of lighting levels throughout the vessel to a safe standard.
- Regular maintenance and testing of the emergency lighting system as required by regulations.
- Efficient energy management, to control fuel consumption to best practical level.
- Developing plans for electrical projects such as constructing new facilities or upgrading existing ones.
- Monitoring electrical equipment to ensure that it is working correctly.
- Managing the daily activities of the electrical department, including scheduling work tasks.
- Estimating the cost of materials needed to complete projects.
- Maintenance of emergency systems including emergency switches
- Responsible for taking new hires on training about electrical use and safety protocol
Academic Qualifications
- Minimum of ND, Technical or related Degrees
- Minimum of 10 years experience
Requirements:
- Ability to use a wide range of tools.
- Have high attention to detail.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills and possess a tactful, polite and friendly approach.
- Willingness to work away from home during the week.
- A ‘can do’ positive attitude.
Salary
N150,000 – N180,000 Monthly.
