Sep 2023. Human Resource Assistant
Graceco Limited | Job Title: Human Resource Assistant | Location: Alagbado, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours:Working time is normally between 7:30am – 5pm Mondays to Fridays and 8:30am – 3pm on Saturdays
Responsibilities
- Maintain adequate records and information for all employees of the Company; create files, maintain and process employee information
- Assist in Core HR activities; Sourcing, attracting and selection, On boarding and off boarding, background checks, reference checks, Employee relations, Performance management, etc.
- Provide support and guidance to staff and ensure good employee relations and welfare; ensure resources such as official emails, ERP access, Laptop, Desktop, table, uniform, etc. required to do the job are provided to employees on resumption of duty.
- Assist in planning and implementation of various HR initiatives and activities; training, survey, town hall meeting, manage attendance, etc.
- Attend to all employee enquiries on benefit administration; pension, HMO, PAYE, address update, etc.
Requisite Qualifications / Experience
- B.Sc (2.1) in Industrial Relations / Human Resources Management and/or relevant HR certification (CIPMN, PHRi, SHRM-CP) is a MUST
- 0 – 1 year of experience in HR.
Required Skills / Attributes:
- Sound and professional communication and written skill
- Ability to use MS office(Excel, Word and Power point) at intermediary level
- Good interpersonal and people management skills and negotiating skills
- Good understanding of basic concept in human resource management
- Strong sense of professionalism, integrity, sound judgment and tact
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong emotional intelligence
- Social media literate.

Quality Control Officer

Detailed Job Description
- Ensure that the equipment and the entire production areas meet the hygiene standard before the commencement of production
- Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards
- Working with operating staff to enforce procedures, standards, systems and procedures
- Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance/quality
- Recording and analyzing statistical information
- Take a random check of the batter, icing sugar.etc at a regular interval
- Carry out a raw materials check list and process check during production activities such as mixing, baking, etc.
- Ensure that specification of weight of the raw materials meets with the standard
- Ensure that the workers comply with good manufacturing practice (GMP) and good hygiene practice (GHP) of the factory
- Ensure that standard operating procedure (SOP) is followed throughout the whole production process
- Ensure that the packaging machine is clean and free from debris, dust and crumbs before production
- Ensure uniformity of the product packed in terms of the colour, size, shape etc
- Ensure proper coding and sealing of the finished product
- Serve as acting QCC in the absence of QCC
- Develop quality assurance plan by conducting hazard analysis, identifying critical control point and preventive measure.
- Reviewing IT and QC officers’ process check and check list.
Requisite Qualifications / Experience
- B.Sc Food Science and other related discipline. Minimum of Second class (upper division)
- ISO 22000, QMS certified
- Must be computer literate: Excel, MS Word, Power Point
- 2-3 years’ experience as QC officer preferably in a manufacturing company
