Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly / annual statutory tax returns.
  • Maintain records as per statutory / tax requirement.
  • Respond to queries / letters. from tax authorities.
  • Reconcile tax payments.
  • Assist in internal audits, surprise checks, inventory audit etc.
  • Generate tax reports and analysis.
  • Assist the Accounts Manager for monthly closing and reporting.
  • Assist during the statutory audit and annual closing of accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in similar industry; preferably from a Manufacturing company
  • Good Analytical Skills
  • Abreast and vast with Tax laws in Nigeria.
  • Good Commercial knowledge.
  • Adept in Technology.

Health, Safety & Environment Officer

Brief Description

  • Support the implementation of the health safety and Environment procedures and foster a positive health and safety culture in the workplace.

Duties

  • Inspect work sites and review working conditions
  • Ensure that equipment is installed correctly and safely
  • Ensure HSE management system is established within the organization, implemented and maintained
  • Oversee disposal of substances according to environmental guidelines
  • Implement preventive measures to ensure unsafe processes are not repeated
  • Audit production, offices and branches, keeping on the lookout for any unsafe behavior or breaks in regulations
  • Carry out regular site inspections to check HSE policies and procedures are being properly implemented
  • Assess risk and possible safety hazards of all aspects of operations and give safety advice accordingly
  • Keep records of HSE inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements
  • Help in creating analytical reports of safety data
  • Inspect production equipment and processes to make sure they are safe and working in-line with factory ACT
  • Advice on the repairs for unsafe and/or damaged equipment
  • Focus on prevention by keeping up with equipment maintenance and employee training
  • Present safety principles to staff in meetings or lecture-type training sessions
  • Participate in creating safety plans that include suggested improvements to existing infrastructure and business processes
  • Share safety information, suggestions and observations with project leadership to create consistency in safety standards throughout the production team and the entire company
  • Participate in meeting company health, safety and environmental goals and objectives
  • Investigate causes of accidents and other unsafe conditions on the job site to prevent recurrence
  • Participate in finding the best way to prevent future accidents
  • Conduct HSE awareness at regular intervals
  • Conduct HSE induction for newly employed staff
  • Participate in identifying adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) for all job task within the company
  • Liaising with store department for PPE issuance
  • Liaising with purchasing department for PPE budget and purchase
  • Liaising with Government agencies on statutory and regulatory requirements compliance
  • Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the work place, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, and Environment or related field.
  • 5 – 7 years of proven working experience in Health and Safety role. Experience in Industrial/Manufacturing environment would be a plus.
  • Experience in a unionized environment would be a plus.

Field Electro-Mechanical Officer


Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Brief Description

  • Conduct routine visits to inspect the gensets under contract and opening cases with call center on the gensets due for service. Attend to Emergencies to provide solution and first-hand information to Branch Emergency Teams & MS.

Duties

  • Collect weekly updated Active Contract List assigned under scope from MS.
  • Inspect the gensets and associated installations thoroughly & record all technical parameters & snags if any on JCF/MRP.
  • Notify call center to open a case for service and obtaining Case ID if Gensets is due for Service.
  • Write the cased ID received form call center on MRP and obtain customer signoff on accurately completed JCF/MRP.
  • Attend promptly to escalated Emergency Cases by Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Collect case ID and details which should be clearly stated on respective Maintenance Report (JCF/MRP).
  • Diagnose and resolve minor faults.
  • Provide first-hand information to MS and Call Center for major or fault that require parts replacement.
  • Write JCF/MRPs with all details & obtain customer signoff.
  • Snap pictures of the snag points, panel readings, signed JCF/MRP, updated Gensets Maintenance Log Card and send to MS & Call Center on email before leaving the site.
  • Conduct daily checks and maintenance of all assigned company assets, tools & PPEs.
  • Adhere to company set dress code, wearing PPEs and identity cards always on duty.
  • Comply strictly with company processes related with QMS, OHAS & EHS policies.
  • Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the work place, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • B.Eng in Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or equivalent.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in site electrical operations in a leading industrial company with a strong experience in Power Supply / Generators industry.
  • Must be ready to relocate to other Zones / Areas / Regions based on business needs.

Competencies:

  • Basic work experience on the electrical/mechanical parts of a diesel generator
  • Experienced in trouble shooting of controls, electrical and all mechanical problems in Diesel Engine Generator Sets.
  • Well familiar with all types of Machine electronic controls for Diesel Engine Generator Sets.
  • Well familiar with various types of Diesel Engine Generator Sets and specialized in Perkins or/and Lister Peter or/and Mitsubishi brands generators electrical system with Leroy Somer/Stanford/Marelli brands of Main Alternators

Field Mechanical Officer

Brief Description

  • Inspect, install, commission, test, troubleshoot and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on DG mechanical system, engine components, fuel and cooling system components, exhaust and gensets canopy components.

Duties

  • Inspect, install, commission and troubleshoot of faulty DG mechanical system, Engine components, fuel & cooling system components, exhaust & gensets canopy components.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, Top and major overhauling of DG Engine, Fuel system, Cooling System, Exhaust System & Canopy with associated components.
  • Conduct routine inspections, servicing of gensets and make modifications to mechanical systems of IC engines, generators and associated equipment.
  • Assemble, install, configure, test & troubleshoot mechanical system components such as Generator Engine system, Injector Pump, Nozzles, Atomizers, Lift Pump, Radiator & components, Fan & Fan belt and fan assembly components, air intake an exhaust system component, Gensets canopy and other associated mechanical parts, sub-assemblies, etc.
  • Handle all Mechanical and Hand Tools, Apparatus and Accessories related with Mechanical systems servicing & maintenance of the generators & other products of the company.
  • Correct technically assembly/modifications related to generator mechanical system, engine, fuel system, cooling system, exhaust, other mechanical sub-assemblies and components complying with standard service and maintenance procedures.
  • Execute in field top overhauling of diesel gensets engines as a result of gensets ageing or due to major faults.
  • Plan layout and install gen mechanical system, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and standard codes.
  • Write reports, obtain customer signoff, snap pre & post pictures in line with the job requirement, send emails, communicate with line managers & call center before leaving any site after job completion.
  • Conduct basic electrical work such as checking and adjusting parameters in Gen control module, checking/replacing/ repairing of charging alternators, Starter Motors & Electrical Lift Pump, checking sanity of AC & DC wiring between control panel and main alternator as well as up to the load termination point, site load assessment, etc.
  • Check daily and conduct periodic maintenance of assigned vehicle in line with company process & manufacturer’s catalogue.
  • Check daily and maintain all assigned company assets, tools & PPEs.
  • Comply strictly with company processes related with QMS, OHAS & EHS policies.
  • Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the work place, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • Diploma or B.Eng Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical or equivalent.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in site mechanical operations in a leading industrial company with a strong experience in Power Supply/Generators industry.
