Job Title: Growth Associate

The Role

  • We are seeking a vibrant Growth Associate who will be responsible for generating leads, turning leads into customers, and ensuring customer retention.
  • The role entails conducting market research to evaluate customer needs and identify sales leads.
  • The successful candidate will be actively seeking out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media. Setting up meetings with potential clients and listening to their wishes and concerns.
  • In this role, the Growth Associate will be responsible for negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will have proven experience with sales and marketing.
  • Ultimately, the successful candidate will help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s profitability and sustainable growth.

Areas of Responsibility

  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data.
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
  • Success as a Growth Associate for Kwakol Markets requires all the basic qualities that make successful salespeople in any arena – self-confidence, an outgoing and engaging personality, initiative, a self-starter attitude, high motivation, goal-driven action, and persistence.
  • Like any salesperson, Growth Associates at Kwakol Markets must know their product.
  • This requires them to have much of the same knowledge that products and services teams have.
  • A potential investor might ask a Growth Associate to give them an analysis of a specific investment, and while the salesperson isn’t a researcher, analyst, or trader, they had better have a good answer ready.
  • Therefore, being interested in pursuing a career in Kwakol’s growth team requires more than an interest in and talent for selling, but also a keen interest in, and understanding of, the investment instruments that they will be marketing to potential clients.

Experience and competencies

  • No specific academic background is required but a Degree in the Social Sciences is desired.
  • 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role.
  • Great communication skills (written, oral, and visual).
  • Stellar writing skills and the ability to create content that is concise and suitable for diverse audiences.
  • Strong oral communication skills and an ability to clearly and concisely communicate ideas and insights with team members and clients.
  • Great people’s skills.
  • Sensibility for design.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to use discretion and good judgment.
  • Ability to multitask and produce rapid results in a fast-paced company.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
