Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, breadetc.
  • Creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
  • Decorating pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting
  • Prepare and suggest new menu items
  • Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget
  • Check quality of material and condition of equipment
  • Understand visitors’ preferences and make suggestions based on findings
  • Maintain a clean cooking station
  • Adhere to health and safety standards
  • Keep abreast with the latest food and industry trends

Requirements

  • Four years of experience in food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
  • Certificate in culinary arts or similar relevant field
  • In depth knowledge of sanitation principles
  • Applicable knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations.
