Material Management Assistant

Location: Equipment Base, Nigeria

Responsibilities

  • Checks and verifies materials from vendors with delivery Waybills/ Purchase Orders
  • Maintains the DMI sheet and update the material status
  • Taking deliveries of back loaded materials from project sites and ensuring good preservation
  • Responsible for keeping traceability of project materials
  • Assist material officers in updating records in SAP for real time inventory
  • Carry out periodic inventory of materials.

Requirements

Planning & Appraisal Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA or other finance related qualifications.
  • Relevant management qualification or training.
  • Minimum of 12 years practical experience in business finance management.
  • Well-rounded set of core Finance skills including controls, reporting, and accounting, value management, taxation, treasury, and performance management.
  • Leadership skills in leading not only a team but also in being an effective leader of the various Finance and business matrices that the leader is involved in.
  • Thorough understanding of business activities, culture value drivers and risks, and a passion to understand and improve business performance.
  • Ability to effectively distinguish where Finance can make a substantial difference to the business outcomes, based on value and associated risks and prioritize accordingly.
  • The courage to remain independent and protect value in business decision making and performance management even when this opposes the prevailing mood in the room.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Civil Engineering or Science Related Course
  • COREN, NSE
  • A minimum of Ten (10) years QA/QC working experience in Oil and Gas industry.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to inspect welds, materials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel.
  • Effective communication skill.
  • Ability to Function within a corporate Team
  • Ability to carry out acceptable QA/QC audit and inspections of site, equipment and facilities.
  • Good follow-up skills and judgment on any issue arising from the site
