Job Title: Technical Assistant | Oolu Solar Energy Limited | Locations: Abuja (FCT), Edo, Enugu, Oyo and Rivers | Employment Type: Full-time

Core Responsibilities
Technical and Repair work:

  • Regularly: Test, analyze and repair solar systems and their components;
  • Regularly: Review technical tickets and complete online reports with detailed information;
  • Regularly: manage the stock of spare parts and the reverse logistics for faulty components;
  • Occasionally: Perform tests on new products and accessories;
  • Occasionally: Support the training of field staff on the correct installation of solar systems, effective troubleshooting, new products and best practices

Warehouse and Logistics Operations:

  • Receive goods physically into the warehouse, ensure the quantity received of any product is the same as the quantity ordered on the purchase order
  • Ensure the stock is in the right place in the warehouse and in the right condition
  • Coordinate with the sales team to identify needs in the region
  • Organize the transport to the sales team and ensure delivery
  • Carry out monthly inventories of the region in liaison with the sales team
  • Draft and send the inventory report to the central team in Lagos

Profile

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 1 year work experience.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of electronics, electric circuit and solar systems
  • Practical experience in the repair and maintenance of electronic equipment (SHS, TV, etc.)
  • Previous relevant work experience in a similar position in the energy sector
  • Good understanding of in-bound and out-bound logistics
  • Attention to detail and ability to organise the daily work independently
  • Ability to analyze and process data/information using excel or google sheet and to write concise and clear reports,
  • Curiosity and interest in understanding how products work and the root cause of problems;
  • Be proactive and a critical thinker.

Job Title: Procurement Officer | Oolu Solar | Location: Ikoyi, Lagos | Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
Day-to-Day Procurement:

  • Provide facility support in the sourcing of consumables for Oolu’s offices and sites such as retail outlets etc.
  • Liaise with departments and vendors to obtain and update information on various tasks.
  • Ensuring the office is stocked with necessary supplies and all equipment is working and properly maintained.
  • Ensure the smooth and adequate flow of information within the company to facilitate other business operations.
  • Ensure operations adhere to procurement policies and regulations.

Strategic Procurement Management:

  • Improve procurement processes
  • Negotiate with suppliers
  • Ensure the development and maintenance of a vendor and supplier database for the various products and services procured by the company
  • Ensure supplier analysis & supplier performance management
  • Define contracts with suppliers including rates, SLAs, etc.

Customs & Clearing Management:

  • Oversee and coordinate the timely and efficient custom’s clearance of the company’s consignments at the Ports (and Airports)
  • Ensure the accurate preparation and documentation of all import documents, which include but may not be limited to form M, SONCAP Certificates (Product and Conformity) and PAAR Documents (Pre-Arrival Assessment Report), Insurance Certificates, Duty Advice etc.
  • Liaise with Customs Broker to ensure the timely clearance of the company’s consignments from the Ports/Airports and delivery to our warehouse.
  • Coordinate and investigate charge-backs such as shortages, lost/damaged goods in transit and missed deliveries etc.

Qualifications and Skills

Main Duties / Responsibilities
Administration and Facility Management:

  • Provide administrative and support services to the organization.
  • Effectively manage and ensure ALL sim card issues are resolved and ensure staff are provided with monthly Data and Airtime.
  • Work with departments and units to understand, plan and coordinate administrative activities
  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems and devise ways to streamline processes

Title: Logistics Officer | Location: Ikoyi, Lagos | Oolu Solar
Availability: ASAP

Core Responsibilities

  • Transport & clearing
  • Assist the logistics manager with import formalities
  • Follow up with the clearing agent to ensure a smooth running of import formalities
  • Ensure documentation of all shipments. These include the Delivery waybills of items received, Item accompaniment and Courier sheets for items dispatched.
  • Update transportation cost sheet for Forward and reverse logistics cost.
  • Ensure all parties involved in goods shipment (forward & reverse logistics) follows laid down procedures
  • Warehouse operations
  • Receive goods physically into the warehouse, ensure the quantity received of any product is same with the quantity ordered on purchase order
  • Prepare products to be sent out of the warehouse, respecting the process and guidelines set (checklist and contract form included, waybills, …)
  • Ensure the stock is in the right place in the warehouse and in the right condition
  • Day-to-day stock management
  • Efficiently manage and track ALL incoming and outgoing stock in the warehouse
  • Ensure the documentation of ALL deliveries and transfer to shipments as well as prepare detailed daily, weekly and monthly reports on inventory operations and stock levels.
  • Communicate effectively with the sales field teams on their deliveries and promptly respond to their order requests. The requests include: replacements on batteries, movement of items on the ERP, etc.
  • Ensure shipments are delivered by courier OTIF (on time and in full) without stock loss in transit and if there is reimbursement is requested.
  • Inventory reconciliation
  • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock reconciliation within the warehouse
  • Responsible for daily and monthly inventory count in the warehouse and ensure no variance with physical inventory and ERP count
  • Receiving Stocks
  • Ensure deliveries are accompanied with the right documents, Purchase order, invoice and waybill if required
  • Receive only quality products and reject if product does not meet standard ○ Document stocks as appropriate on receipt using GRN and forwarding invoice and GRN to finance for payment
  • Ensure products received are arranged appropriately into the warehouse (New/Recycled, Components/Incomplete or KOs)
  • Returned stock management
  • Ensure any material (battery, SHS, …) received from the field and brought back to the warehouse(s) is tracked and accounted for based on the reverse logistic procedure
  • Ensure adherence to the SOP for forward logistics and also use the right documents for shipment processing
  • ERP Operations
  • Ensure all categories of goods received physically into the warehouse or shipped are also processed on the ERP.
  • Ensure Design, implement and manage a system for monitoring the activities of warehouse to ensure effective control and mitigate risks of theft, loss of stock & working materials etc.
  • Provide weekly reports to the management on all supply chain and operations, issues etc.
  • Establish and promote best practices
  • Safety & Hygiene
  • Ensure daily monitoring of stock against theft, pilferage and obsolete inventory
  • Maintain high level of health, hygiene and good housekeeping procedures
  • Ensure high level of safety to prevent hazards from improper stacking/storage of products.

  • BSc/BA or HND in Logistics or relevant field;
