December 3, 2022. Operations Officer

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Greets all customers promptly and shows a genuine interest in meeting their needs
  • Provides the highest level of customer service in a positive, courteous and enthusiastic manner to customers
  • Maintains a strong working knowledge of the Bank’s services
  • Examines money to detect and remove counterfeit
  • Ensuring all operating and security and safe working procedures are always followed
  • Ensure all necessary postings and paperwork are completed accurately to provide audit trails
  • Bundles, wraps and seals counted money. Separates mutilated and worn bills.
  • Use various cash management systems to ensure accurate counting
  • Look for any differences or discrepancies in notes and document that are received, and raise unresolved issues with supervisor
  • Ensure prompt handling of customers’ enquiries and complaints
  • Ensure timely rendering of reports.

Responsibilities

  • Appraise and approve all loan applications
  • Monitor the portfolio to ensure a healthy portfolio is maintained
  • Ensure lending assets for approval are within parameters
  • Contact liaison with sales team to ensure conformity with credit policy and training
  • Ensure that work flow is consistent with credit approval to achieve high portfolio standard
  • Develop and implement procedure and processes for fraud prevention management
  • Monitor/ report exposure and assess current and potential risk and assist management in developing prevention strategies

  • Analyse and report on portfolio characteristics, assisting in product development geared towards managing inherent credit risks in bank’s products.

Job Brief

  • Responsible for supervising and organizing the Sales and Marketing team to meet and exceed the organization’s sales target within the stipulated time frame. As our Sales Manager, you will work with the Chief Commercial Officer and contribute to delivering the targets for our organization across various verticals (Healthcare, Hospitality, Agriculture, SMEs, Education, Financial Institution).
  • Responsible for managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation.
