Job Description

  • We are looking for an experienced Head of Premium Banking to oversee all marketing operations of the company and develop its marketing strategy and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Listen to the trends of the market and direct the market research efforts of the company.
  • Liaise with other departments to guide a unified approach to customer service, distribution etcthat meets market demands.
  • Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives.
  • Develop a feasible marketing plan for the department and oversee its day-to-day implementation.
  • Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (product development, branding, communications etc.), and ensure they project the company’s unique “voice”.
  • Design and coordinate promotional campaigns, PR and other marketing efforts across channels (E-business, etc.)
  • Build a highly efficient team of marketing professionals.
  • Create a solid network of strategic partnerships.

Requirements

  • B.Sc / BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or relevant field; MSc/MA/MCP will be a plus.
  • More than 8 years proven experience in a marketing manager or business development role.
  • Proven experience as Head of Premium Banking or similar role.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion, deposit etc.).
  • Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
  • Ability to apply marketing techniques over E-business (e.g. social media) and non-E-business (e.g. press) channels
  • Understanding of different business disciplines (IT, finance etc.).
  • Proficient in MS Office and business software (e.g. CRM).
  • A leader with both creative and analytical capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 monthly.

Main Responsibilities

  • The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing business solution
  • The main goal is to generate more revenue for the company, to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contact and come up with new sales ideas.

Main Duties of the Position:

  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.

  • Present and develop new products (Loans and Savings).
  • Work with a team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns and objectives.

  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
  • Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.

  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products and distribution channels.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiation.
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
  • Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff.
  • Ensure Savings targets are met.

Education, Skills and Experience

  • ND, HND and Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Business or a related field, marketing strategy
