Job Title: Regional Sales Manager | Opay Nigeria | Location: Lagos | Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for an experienced high-performing Regional Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative.
  • The Regional Manager will be responsible for maximizing our regional sales team potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve regional growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the regional sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base across the region and ensures a strong presence
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales talent across the region.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting merchant relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
  • Identify emerging opportunities and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.

Requirements and Skills

  • B.Sc / M.Sc qualification in Business Administration or any related field
  • Relevant prior experience of 10 – 15 years of experience in Sales or Business Development with minimum 5years as a manager or regional lad from, FINTECH (mobile money or payment solutions firm) commercial bank, FMCG, Entertainment, retail, Food & Hospitality, Health, Education, Betting, Transport & Logistics, etc
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
