Job Title: Sales Manager

Job Purpose

  • Ensures the efficient supervision of adverts, promotional and creative campaigns of the company.

Description of key Tasks

  • Extending digital television advertising business, developing new client and achieving aggressive but realistic targets within a specified time frame
  • Develops, implements, and manages the company’s advertising strategy,
  • Creating campaign budgets, negotiating client contracts
  • Manages a group of advertising sales representatives.
  • Managing customer relationship and keeping strategic relationship with key client
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicates the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Prepare Data analysis on Star Times profile, subscriber base
  • Prepares weekly/monthly departmental reports.
  • Other duties from superior


  • Education: HND / Degree (Major in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism or other related fields)
  • Knowledge: Proficient on the process of operation, TV advertising business and know very well about the demands of customer. Familiar with operating model of marketing activities and advertising promotion.
  • Experience: At least 8-10 years experiences of TV advertising sales with a verifiable track record of sales achievement; having stable customer resources who have a capabilities and willing to put up an advertisement on STAR-TV platform.


  • Excellent with MS Office tools especially Excel and Word
