Overview

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming calls and redirect them or keep messages
  • Prepare outgoing mail by drafting correspondence, securing parcels etc.
  • Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Take up other duties as assigned (travel arrangements, schedules etc.)
  • Greet people entering the building, answering any questions, providing directions and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit them.
  • Answer a multiple line phone system, manage calls by routing them to the proper extensions or taking messages and delivering them within our message system along with setting up conference calls as requested.
  • Accept deliveries and mail, organize them to be distributed to the correct recipients using the office mailing system and ensure they get to the recipient in a timely manner while also managing outgoing mail and packages for pickup.
  • Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone.
  • Greet people entering the building, answering any questions, providing directions and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit them

Job Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications and work experience.
  • Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
  • Knowledge of office management and basic bookkeeping
  • Proficient in English (oral and written)
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently.

Job Title: Project Management Associate | Location: Lekki, Lagos | Job type: Permanent

Job Description

  • TAG Energy seeks competent individuals to provide Project Management Support in our Lagos Office. Successful individuals must have excellent organizational, time management and analytical abilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for tender and proposal preparation.
  • Assist with project management support including resource allocation for new and ongoing projects
  • Provide support to technical project teams including work mobilizations
  • Working with Business Managers to ensure implementation of departmental policies, procedures and standards
  • Provide support for field and procurement activities
  • Maintain active company vendor registrations
  • Ensures project documentation are accurate and submitted on time
  • Interact with clients, providing information and issue resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or any related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 2 year’s experience in project management role. (Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus)
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain and/or Bid/Tender preparation is a plus.
  • Highly skilled in using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Candidate must have good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision or no supervision.
  • Excellent project management skill, which includes time management ability.
  • Demonstrated leadership and multi-tasking abilities

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • Supports accounting operations by filing documents; reconciling statements; running software programs.
  • Maintains accounting records by making copies, filing documents.
  • Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
  • Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
  • Raise and post sales invoices, cash receipts, cash payment vouchers, payroll, etc.
  • Update and maintain transactions and accounting and financial data such as sales records, accounts payables/receivables, purchases, etc.
  • Prepare and ensure all invoices are recorded.
  • Follow up with client payments, ensuring they are made on time.
  • Manage, track and maintain the petty cash imprest and ensure that reconciliations are completed on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare cheques for payment.
  • Carry out all bank related activities including deposits, accounts reconciliation, etc. as required.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly budgets.
  • Prepare financial reports to monitor and track obligations and expenditures.
  • Prepare financial reports for management accounts as needed.
  • Ensure that proper and accurate statutory returns are prepared in a timely manner.
  • Payroll
  • Process monthly payroll for employees.
  • Review payroll forms and reports for accuracy and make necessary adjustments or corrections.
  • Research, analyze, and resolve payroll-related problems or questions.
  • Compile and analyze payroll data, prepare related reports
  • Serve as a contact for payroll related issues/inquiries

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of Second-class upper Degree from a reputable university, Higher Degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of two to five years experience in similar position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • QuickBooks experience preferred.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization
  • ICAN certification a plus.
  • Team Player.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision or no supervision.

General Requirements:

  • Monthly Deliverables and Reports
  • Monthly bank reconciliation statement report for all the Company’s banks.
  • Monthly and annual Management Reports.
  • Computation of taxes and statutory payment (PAYE, Pension &NSITF) for each month.
  • Presentation of daily cash positions and daily requisition of the Company to the Managing Director
