Female Account Assistant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems. Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Provide periodic reports.
Survey operations to ascertain accounting needs and to recommend, develop, or maintain solutions to business and financial problems.
Develop, maintain, & analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements.
Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
Preparation/Supervision of Imprest, Payroll, Claims, and bonuses.
Oversee and manage all banking relationships on behalf of the Company. Reconciliation of banks statements
Liaising with Consultants in the handling of Local govt, State, and Federal govt. tax matters like payee, Company tax, VAT, WHT etc and other government levies.
Managing/processing of payments for local/foreign suppliers. Preparation of Customers statement of accounts.
Consolidate Intercompany Accounts.
Achieve planned reporting time in quality and timeliness.
Cash Control – ensure a structured mode of handling cash /credit transactions.

Requirements

Candidates should possess an HND qualification with 2 – 4 years work experience.

Job Description

Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
Support Customer requests for quotations through specification review, costing, price build-up, quotation preparation, submittal, and order entry processes.
Follow-up on quotations as necessary to close order.
Confer with customers & end users/engineers to assess equipment needs, & to determine system requirements.
Carryout Research for the development of sales plans to introduce products in new markets.
Also, create sales or service contracts for new and existing products or services.
Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including requests for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.
Identify resale opportunities, and support them to achieve sales plans.
Keep informed on industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.
Prepare & deliver technical presentations that explain products/services to customers & prospective customers.
Recommend improved materials or machinery to customers, documenting how such changes will lower costs or increase production.
Evaluating marketing campaigns & monitoring competitor activity.
Document account activities, generate reports and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers.
Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery.
Research and identify potential customers for products or services.
Conducting marketing research such as customer questionnaires and focus groups.
Write technical documentation for products.
Attend trade shows and seminars to promote products or to learn about industry developments
Visit prospective buyers at commercial, industrial, or other establishments to show samples or catalogs, and to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages.
Provide technical and non-technical support and services to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of equipment or any of the company’s products.
Achieve a savings plan for the company.
Ensure proper use and upkeep of company property.
Carry out any other assignment as may be given by management.
Personally represent the TekniTeed brand professionally and ethically at all times.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a B.Eng Degree with 2 – 4 years relevant work experience.
