Role Overview

  • The Sales Manager reports directly to the COO and his role includes but is not limited to overseeing the company’s business development goals and managing the business development team to deliver profitable growth.
  • This includes identifying and managing business opportunities; client accounts; customer and partner interface.
  • He is expected to create a robust pipeline of business and develop plans/strategies to drive penetration of the company’s range of services, as well as identifying strategic partnerships to further the company’s corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute corporate business development and market penetration plan.
  • Oversee and manage the Business Development team including the BD/Sales Manager.
  • Lead initiatives to develop existing markets and expand into markets.
  • Oversee and support all elements of corporate business development activities such as: account management, capture, proposal development, coordination of hand off to corporate operational managers, and continuous interface with customers and business partners.
  • Support the development and roll-out of the annual Strategic and Business Development Unit Business Plans.
  • Develop optimum business strategies, to include identifying and managing partner relationships, defining solutions for existing/potential clients, responding to solicitations, and communicating with clients.
  • Develop and apply metrics in order to measure effectiveness of operations and support improved corporate performance.
  • Support all aspects of technical sales development, project requirements and facilitate the bid/tendering process.
  • Plan and manage programs and projects assigned.
  • Develop market strategies and coordinate/deliver regular Business Development/Strategic Plan updates.
  • Track and monitor team goals and objectives to ensure they are meeting targets and management mandated requirements – this includes, but is not limited to: sales/business development manager goals/targets, business development executive goals/targets, tracking monthly and quarterly business development metrics; and other corporate metrics/goals as necessary.
  • Perform research and establish contacts to develop leads and create business opportunities.
  • Provide all the administrative functions including budgeting, personnel management, project budgeting, analyzing and summarizing data trends & metrics and market analysis providing the organization with the information/strategies required to be successful.
  • Support and represent the company at industry and market space events.
  • Prepare weekly management briefings on pipeline reviews and strategic planning.
  • Directs and manages/coordinates exhibition participation and other PR activities.
  • Contributes to the development of the company’s corporate strategy.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant Engineering field, technical sales knowledge of Process, Instrumentation, Control and Electrical Engineering and Systems Integration will be advantageous.
  • 10+ years of business development/sales experience in the oil and gas services industry.
  • Experienced in Production Chemicals, Petrochemical and Refinery products and processes.
  • Relevant experience and expertise in technical sales of various OEM products.
  • Demonstrable track record of closing deals and ability to push and sell products and services to clients in competitive markets.
  • Ability to identify, devise and position propositions to clients – articulating and adequately capturing value.
  • Excellent B2B selling experience and strategic/tactical capability, involving management of multiple stakeholders.
  • Significant track record of successfully owning, driving development of, and managing complex accounts.
  • Strong understanding of key industry drivers and how these impact on client accounts.
  • Current network of senior contacts in the marketplace and excellent relationship building skills, with the ability to utilise relationships to uncover and develop opportunities.

Accountant, Lagos and Rivers

Job Summary

  • The Accountant will be responsible for gathering, reviewing, analysing and presenting financial and non-financial information from various sources within and outside the company and make recommendations that will positively impact the company.

Responsibilities

  • Financial reporting process (i.e. GL, Trial balance and Annual Financial reports) in line with IFRS; ensuring completeness, correctness and accuracy of accounting records and transactions
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports and variance analysis i.e. actual versus budget variances and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences
  • Prepare monthly cash forecasts and annual budget for the company
  • Ensure that the Company’s business control framework is effective through maintenance of a fit-for-purpose risk based framework of business and financial controls
  • Ensure compliance with financial and fiscal reporting (statutory and others) requirements
  • Jointly responsible for annual audits (financial audit and tax audit – LIRS, FIRS)
  • Negotiate the resolution of fiscal issues with the relevant Government agencies (i.e FIRS, LIRS, NCDMB etc.) and provide advice on fiscal matters.
  • Manage the provision of high quality and efficient treasury services including cash management, insurance, pensions, and foreign exchange management
  • Supervise the preparation of WHT and VAT schedules for filing with government and remittances
  • Support the role in corporate tax process & management
  • Play a supporting role in the development of the Finance strategy and the annual Business Plan
  • Account payables management; settlement of vendors’ bills and resolution of disputes, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all transactions with vendors.
  • Payroll Administration and month end reporting (including GL & bank reconciliations)
  • Inventory supervision process both at the company’s warehouse and third party warehouses
  • Review of third party expense reimbursement report
  • Account for sales and invoicing
  • Establishing and managing local banking relationships
  • Review of draft contracts with vendors for fiscal compliance and providing support where necessary to the procurement unit
  • Liaising with government agency (i.e. DPR and NAPIMS) on technical related matters.
  • Supervise the finance department in the absence of the
  • Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Managing Director.

Key Requirements

  • A First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a business-related discipline
  • Minimum of four (4) years’ experience in Internal audit, Account Officer or related financial assignments in the Oil and Gas industry is highly preferred.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (ICAN, ACCA). Competent in the use of SAGE software.

Procurement Officer



Locations: Lagos and Rivers (Onne)

Responsibilities

  • Monitor the progress of active transactions and conduct service quality assessments at the end of each contract.
  • Monitor the progress of issued requests until they are transformed into PO’s and issued to suppliers.
  • Monitor progress of the orders until the products and or services are received and invoiced.
  • Monitor the flow; follow up of validated invoices and payment of contractors.
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly report of activities.
  • Data base maintenance analysis and management.
  • Participate in service quality meetings, correspondences and relations with internal users and external clients.
  • Monitoring and doing gap analysis on the agreed KPI and or service level agreement (SLA) of the key vendors in responsible areas.
  • Provide feedback on KPI to the key vendors in a regular basis and develop/agree the action plan to close gap.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
  • Certification in supply chain management would be an added advantage.
