IT Business Manager

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will lead the marketing, operational, strategic planning and budgeting, including fostering innovation and resource allocation.
  • Manage IT Solutions project delivery by acting as a liaison between Clients and Software team to ensure that the proposed solutions meet business requirements.

Job Description

  • Liaise with the Software Engineers to develop applications and other enterprise technical solutions to support business needs through the planning, analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance phases of the software and systems development lifecycle
  • Lead marketing and sales activities to ensure success of the software solutions offered. This will include the promotion and demonstration of the software solutions to clients where appropriate.
  • Identify gaps that the commercial marketplace cannot fill and to offer alternative IT enterprise solutions as needed.
  • Research the external environment, and recommend viable partnerships for business growth.
  • Interface with different stakeholders to determine and propose appropriate and effective enterprise technology solutions to meet their business and technical objectives.
  • Identifying and implementing technology trends that will be able to support the future success of the business.
  • Develop, implement and communicate the procedures used for assessing and measuring quality
  • Establish clear organizational structures and succession plans aligned with appropriate responsibilities and accountabilities of the Software Team.

Qualifications & Required Skills

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related discipline.
  • 5 – 7 years’ technical salesworking experience in IT solutions company
  • Relevant professional certifications in software development is highly essential
  • Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles
  • General Knowledge of a wide range software products, the technology used and key markets
  • Experience of IT business analysis tools and processes.

Salary
N400,000 – N500,000 monthly.

Internal Audit Officer


Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Independently perform and lead internal operational audits, monitor compliance with UNITeS internal processes and procedures with regards to finance and other areas of operations
  • Investigate and report violations of processes and procedures and regulatory standards across the operations of UNITes including but not limited to finance with effective action plans in response to discoveries and compliance violations.
  • Issue all Internal Audit reports ensuring the reports are clear, concise, identify root causes with practical solutions, and ultimately provide value to management.
  • Manage record follow-up reviews of financial, operational, or regulatory compliance deficiencies noted during audits.
  • Proactively inform senior management of significant risks or exposures related to internal controls, compliance, and/or governance requiring prompt attention.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of suitable company’s standard operating policies and procedures
  • Revenue assurance; ensuring all proceeds are properly accounted for, correctly posted and adequate records maintained across the group.
  • Vendor’s management; ensuring good and effective negotiation by conducting regular market survey of prices in the open market,
  • Monthly review of Staff Payrolls; ensuring correctness of salaries computation, deductions and payments.
  • Continued review of control mechanism within the system; ensuring controls are adequate and sufficient to safeguard against unnecessary operational and financial risks.

Academic Qualifications / Required Skills

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting
  • A recognized professional qualification in Accounting; ACA, ACCA
  • 4 – 6 years working experience as Internal Audit in IT Industry
  • Integrity with strong ethics and values consistent with the code of conduct of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria
  • Ability to stand firm on difficult issues when required
  • Strong analytical capability
  • Capable of working independently and with minimum supervision
  • Logical approach to identifying and evaluating issues and problem solving.

Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 Monthly.
