Winock is a registered Nigerian company established in 2016, specialising in flexible and cost-effective equipment rent to own service for micro-businesses. We officially started operations in 2017, providing Solar equipment leasing services to customers such as phone chargers and barbers. Loan Marketing Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

  • Experienced SME Loan Marketing Officer at Winock are responsible for the evaluation and processing of loans and act as liaison between customers and the organization while helping qualified applicants acquire huge loans in a timely manner.

Job Description

  • Market loan products and process loan applications for SME Customers.
  • Interview loan applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of repayment of loans.
  • Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up loan payment plans.
  • Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions.
  • Opening loan applications Conducting loan analysis by visiting the business and household of clients.
  • Visiting the business /employer of guarantors and preparing a complete loan assessment according to the bank’s credit procedures.
  • Presenting loan proposals to the credit units and informing the client about the decision of the credit units.
  • Ensuring punctual repayments of acquired loans from clients, contacting and visiting all parties based on needs
  • Ensuring high quality standards of the bank’s credit portfolio.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc or its equivalent in Marketing or related field.
  • 1 year work experience.
  • Minimum of 1yearcognate experience from a reputable Microfinance Bank.
  • Sound Risk Management experience and can disburse/deliver a Min of 10million Naira Loan Monthly with good success rate and track records.
  • Good knowledge of Abujamarkets.
  • Ability to disburse SME Loans in large volumes without default.
  • Experienced in repayment tracking and loan collection without a day default.

N80,000 monthly.

Solar Sales Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

  • To identify potential Solar market/potential referral partners in the areas
  • Locate potential clients in Abuja and around Nigeria
  • Maintain database of potential clients
  • Conducting an initial verification of the potential customers to ensure that they are eligible.
  • Verify the customer’s identity and shop rental status with the market management.
  • Generate leads and manage the enlisted referral partners
  • Schedule a meeting with association heads for the marketing manager to attend alongside the officer

Job Description

  • Leverage product, market and customer insights to develop and maintain customer-focused value propositions for and existing fintech product initiatives
  • Define innovative and differentiated customer-centric value propositions, messaging and product positioning that addresses the evolving needs of our customers, markets, emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Conceptualize, build, and execute growth initiatives focused on increasing acquisition, engagement, and retention.
  • Masterminding, executing and optimizing creative acquisition campaigns across multiple paid and organic channels(PPC, paid social, aggregators and CRM)
  • Go-To-Market Strategy and Execution: Define responsibilities, activities and timelines for marketing our product offerings, and making sure these align with the distribution strategy.
  • Audience Identification: Define the appropriate target audience and user personas for our various product offerings.
  • Messaging & Content: Taking the Lead on the development and delivery of internal and external product positioning collateral and core messaging, web content, sletters, sales and marketing materials and internal product sales guides
  • Sales Enablement: Responsible for equipping internal stakeholders with education, information, content and tools about products.
  • Measurement & Analytics: Track and analyze the effectiveness of your activities, using metrics for marketing effectiveness, sales performance and financial results.
  • Optimize our paid media budget and performance against targets.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and monitor competitors’ growth activities in the fintech tech space.


  • B.Sc Degree in relevant field
  • Relevant certification(s) will be an added advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.

Other Requirements:

  • Extensive growth experience working in fintech environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of user acquisition, conversion, and retention mechanisms for fintech products
  • Hands-on digital skills including paid social and PPC experience in a high growth B2C tech environment.
  • Ability to take ambiguous problems and solve them in a structured, hypothesis-driven, data-supported way.
  • Good project, stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong customer focus with an excellent understanding of customer and market requirements, and experience of linking these to product positioning and messaging.

Job Description

  • The Internal Auditor & Compliance is grossly responsible for ascertaining and assessing the soundness of accounting and financial controls and procedures.
  • He/she assesses the accuracy, timeliness and relevance of management information, appraising the efficiency of established policies and procedures, reviewing them in the light of changing circumstances and ensuring that Internal Control checks are carried out on all pre-disbursement transactions.

Other Duties include:

  • Give comprehensive reports on Audits and proffer immediate solutions.
  • Conduct an Audit to identify business risk areas and give recommendations on weaknesses identified.
  • Carry out pre/post transaction Audit through the Audit checklist on daily basis.
  • Ensure timely processing of transactions in accordance with policies
  • Ensure timely completion of Audit plans
  • Ensure conformance and compliance with Policies, Procedures, and Professional Standards, as well as a high delivery of operations in accordance with the approved budget, etc.

Requirements & Skills

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other related field, with relevant certificates and professional membership
  • Minimum of 8 years cognizant experience with other relevant professional certifications
  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in auditing; internal audit standards, ethics and fraud awareness
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Experienced in recommending Results / Corrective Actions.
