About You and the Role

As a member of Zipline’s Flight Operations team in Bayelsa State, Nigeria, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the delivery of medical products to health facilities is done in a safe and timely manner.
This will involve working with a team of flight operators to conduct regular pre-flight inspections, launching, and recovery of the drones (aircraft).
You’ll be trained to conduct regular maintenance of the drones and other equipment at our site to support ongoing operations.
You will be expected to contribute to the continuous improvement of our daily operations and processes to support the growth of our operations as we scale.

What You’ll Do

Launch and Recovery: You will be responsible for the safe assembly of drones in preparation for 150+ flights, perform critical checks, communicate with Zipline controllers in readiness for flight, launch and disassemble drones on return to the Distribution Center.
Maintenance of drones and ground equipment: You will be responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance: scheduled or unscheduled on Zipline’s Aircraft and Ground Equipment. The maintenance includes but is not limited to Aircraft body maintenance, aircraft wing maintenance, etc.
Troubleshooting: You will be required to follow troubleshooting guidelines for the drones and ground equipment and collaborate with locally-based and USA-based engineering teams to troubleshoot and optimize issues.
Projects: You may be involved in short-term and long-term projects that involve collaboration across functional teams in efforts to scale drone deliveries to 150+ and improve operational efficiency.

Senior Donor Partnerships Manager

Location: Abuja / Lagos

About You and the Role

We are looking for a seasoned professional with an entrepreneurial mindset to lead Zipline’s relationships with Development Partners in Nigeria.
As the local liaison in-country for all donor relationships, you’ll develop and execute a strategy to build Zipline’s market reputation and position the organization for continued success within the Development Partner ecosystem – by building connections, running a regular cadence of meetings, and providing visibility into our impact with the ultimate goal of securing support for, and expanding utilization of, Zipline’s services.
A strong candidate for this role will bring experience working with a number of multi and bi lateral partners, the ability to adeptly navigate a complex network of senior level relationships, and a proven fundraising track record.

What You’ll Do

Elevate Zipline’s visibility with local bilateral and multilateral stakeholders in Nigeria, including but not limited to USAID, FCDO, The Global Fund, and UNICEF to support current and expanded utilization of the system
Partner with the Nigeria GM and Client Success Lead to educate key Nigerian government and donor stakeholders on Zipline’s value, cultivate champions within these institutions, and secure financial support
Advance Zipline’s agenda and contracting objectives with USAID locally by liaising with the local USAID Mission, US Embassy, prime contractors, local and regional NGOs, and with other NGO and US government stakeholders as required
Create and continuously foster effective working relationships with donors’ prime contractors and subcontractors locally to position Zipline to win material scopes of work supporting global health supply chain programs
Identify opportunities to expand Zipline’s reach within the healthcare system, including delivery of vital program drug commodities

Health Systems Integration Officer

Does the thought of working with government stakeholders in Cross River State to integrate Zipline’s medical delivery services in the national healthcare supply chain get you excited? Do you enjoy taking full ownership of projects you work on, from supply chain mapping and pricing analysis, to crafting SOPs around quality management?
